Join Charlotte and the Shoemaker this Christmas for a magical re-imagining of the classic tale, The Elves and the Shoemaker. Featuring live music, song and dance. Come along to Interplay Theatre...
This Land: The Story of Woody Guthrie will open on 3rd August 2012 at Zoo Southside venues, in the heart of the hustling, bustling city that is Edinburgh! Interplay are delighted to be presenting the show for audiences at the Fringe 2012.
This Land is a realisation of a six year body of work. The show was originally developed in special schools in 2006 with a cast of 4 actor-musicians, set inside an intimate transit camp tent. Audiences were immersed in the action as it unfolded around them, with sights, smells, tastes heightening the experience. Using Woody’s own words and music, the story is a rollercoaster of highs and lows chronicling the largely tragic life of a man who influenced music, and shaped the landscape of music that we know and love today.
The Spit Nolan tour is well underway and fully sold out. The company have been travelling the length and breadth of the country, bringing the show to audiences of young people in special schools.
The feedback for the Spit Nolan theatre tour in schools has been extremely positive, emphasising our skills in creating engaging immersive sensory theatre pieces for schools and students of a wide age and ability range.
